AED Membership

Associate Member: Pre-Professional Member: National Member:
Dues: $ 30.00 USD (For 1 Academic Year, including summer) $ 30.00 USD (For 1 academic year, including the summer) $75.00 USD (Lifetime)
Joining Criteria: Can join anytime during the Academic year.

Must have the Membership Information document completed.

Must have a science GPA of 3.0 or higher.1

Must have an overall GPA of 3.3 or higher

Must be an Associate Member for 3 consecutive semesters3 be being able to apply for National Membership.

Must have a science GPA of 3.0 or higher and a cumulative GPA of 3.3 or higher.

Attributes: Can attend all AED meetings.

Can participate/volunteer in all AED activities.

Privy to the AED listserv.

Can run for AED Scalpel Reporter Position.2

1At the time of applying for an Associate Membership, the individual must present a printed copy of their FACTS.org transcript.  For incoming Freshmen or individuals without a prior USF Academic History, this requirement is waived until a transcript can be obtained.

 

2Associate Members cannot become AED President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, or Historian until they have received National Membership.

 

3One semester is comprised of either 1 Fall semester, 1 Spring semester or 1 Summer semester (Summer A, B or C).
