They started off in ninety-eight. In a car with smoke and friendships great.
They grew in size and set the plan. To set the standard, to be the man.

But then came break, and so it passed. Only four came back, only four would last.
But they didn't give up they kept alive, that dream they had, and still they'd drive,
On and on until they found, fifteen more who'd stay around.
This Alpha group would make it through, then come back and then rush two.

And of this two, one would go. And now Ill bet you think you know.
Of how this story should have ended, 20 foolish, broke, and bended.
But they still felt they wouldn't die. Add 13 more and then we'll try.
To get our charter so we will be, at USF permanently.

So try they did, but it wouldn't be. Get more guys they said, and then we'll see.
So they went ahead, and added four. That was not enough, they needed more.

A semester later they added 10, the charter came, but even then,
They heard tales of chapters past, who got their charter but didn't last

This group was strong, and they knew it. Post-Charter slump, they'd get through it.
So came the fall, and they grew by 8, this unlikely group was doing great.

But what came next surprised them all. A lack of pride could be their fall.
All the men were going away. Inactivity and Graduation Day,
Had taken their toll, and left the group small. And they were discouraged, but that was not all.

They struggled through their very next rush. They fought with each other, their spirit was crushed.

So here these men are at this time. And what is the end to this rhyme?
It a call of courage in buff and red, can you make sure that the spirit ain't dead?
This call is for brothers to bond as one. This call is for you to prove we're not done.
