History of Epsilon Chapter

"NINE KARATS DEEP"

We ended the way we began; nine women, one mission, to continue the legacy of the Nine Black Diamonds as well as embracing the ideals and tenets of Lambda Psi Delta Sorority, Inc.

This is how Epsilon Chapter began.....

February of 1999, a dream was born, and what started out as an idea soon made its way to reality. The thought of bringing down another sorority to USF; one which proclaimed unconditional sisterhood and service was in mind. Although many sororities were researched, only one truly ignited the fire of desire within us to pursue. Lambda Psi Delta Sorority, Inc. was what we all longed to be part of.
So it was that for the next several months, some women came while others left, until only nine remained, and it came time for our nine souls to search for our Diamond within.
With many cultures combined, Lambda Psi Delta remained in mind, and as time went on our loyalty, respect, and love for Lambda Psi Delta and each other flourished. We came to find out that our varied cultural backgrounds united us, providing us with strength.
On December 4, 1999 in the midst of chaos, we emerged as Diamonds of Lambda Psi Delta Sorority, Inc. We laid to rest an "old life" to enliven a new one, this tiven a new one, this time as messengers of Lambda Psi Delta's tenets, virtues, and purpose.
The dream of our nine women had now come true and nearly a year later on Febuary 6, 2000, Epsilon line was now known as Episilon chapter of Lambda Psi Delta Sorority, Inc.
For some this may seem like the end of Epsilon's story, but the truth is that we've only just begun to...... SHINE!!!!
