UNIVERSITY-WIDE DIVERSITY CELEBRATIONS
USF holds annual celebrations each year to promote an inclusive campus and represent all cultures/groups. The Office of Multicultural Affairs proposes to reach out to all communities on campus by supporting them in their request to promote cultural heritage and pride. Some of those constituency groups are members of the OMA multicultural community. OMA wants to provide greater linkages with such constituency groups and seeks to partner with them during their monthly celebratory functions.
The University-wide celebrations are:
- Black Emphasis Month (February)
- Women's Awareness Month (March)
- Asian Alliance Month (April)
- Hispanic Heritage Month (September/October)
- GBLT Celebration (October)
- Native American Month (November)
