JOINING THE MCC
Who can join the MCC?
The Multicultural Community is open to all registered student organizations at the University of South Florida who identify themselves as multicultural student organizations. Organizations that are
classified as academic, professional, cultural, international, religious, service or special interest may join the Multicultural Community. Although the Office of Multicultural Affairs recognizes that some Greek-lettered organizations may be multicultural, we do not yet have the resources to support these organizations. Therefore, it is requested that these organizations continue to receive support from the Office of Fraternity & Sorority Life and do not apply for Multicultural Community membership. These groups; however, are welcomed and strongly encouraged to participate in all of the training programs, events, and committees sponsored by the Office of Multicultural Affairs. You can locate these organizations on the Student Involvement Website.
How to Join the MCC?
To join the Multicultural Community, first, please review the entire Multicultural Community Handbook with your executive board officers. Second, complete the Multicultural Community Application. Third, submit an electronic copy via email. Finally, return a hard copy to the Office of Multicultural Affairs in the Marshall Student Center room 3300. You are now ready to begin your journey engaging "in meaningful social and educational relationships."
