Its Purpose

The USF Rugby Foundation is used simply for the development of the sport of Rugby at the University of South Florida. Currently the account stands with just over $1300.00. The main purpose for the Foundation is to provide a tax deductible option to USF Rugby's donors.

 

The Foundation Account is used only for payment of awarded scholarships, which there is currently ONE, and for National Travel.

 

Our Goal

We are working towards building this account up to "Endowment" level by the year 2012. This requires a minimum balance of $20,000. Currently our only fundraiser for this event is the Fall Golfing Classic which raised the current amount.

 

We Need YOUR Help

We intend to attract top quality rugby athletes in the coming years as USF Rugby begins its transition to a Division I Rugby Program. Our club will not be able to compete simply by recruiting around campus. This Endowment fund will create recurring cash flow that the team can depend on year after year in order to offer scholarship to the Nations Best Rugby Players.
